Raye and Tunde to perform at Java Jazz Festival

The 20th Java Jazz Festival will take place from May 30 to June 1, 2025, at the Jakarta International Expo in Central Jakarta. This year’s theme is “Unleashing Harmony: A Joyful Celebration of Sound.” The festival will feature popular artists, including British singer-songwriter Raye and Tunde Baiyewu, former lead singer of the Lighthouse Family. Raye is known for her work in R&B, jazz, and dance, while Tunde is celebrated for his unique voice. The lineup includes over 100 performances from various artists. Fans can look forward to performances by the South Korean jazz group Yun Seok Cheol Trio, British jazz-funk band Incognito, and R&B singer Snoh Aalegra. Notable local musicians such as Adikara and Bilal Indrajaya will also perform. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the festival has partnered with longtime sponsors BNI bank and Sosro tea. BNI will offer ticket sales through its mobile app, and Sosro will introduce a special Java Jazz-themed tea packaging.
