Ubisoft has confirmed that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege will introduce full crossplay support on December 3, 2024, with the launch of Operation Collision Point. This update allows players on PC and consoles to play together in the same matches. The new feature, called 'Crossplay 1.0', enables console players to join their PC friends by opting into the PC matchmaking pool. Additionally, a MouseTrap feature will ensure that console players using mouse and keyboard are matched with PC players. While the Dynamic Matchmaking 1.0 feature has been delayed to Year 10, Ubisoft will implement the Phantom Player feature to enhance matchmaking balance. This feature will help adjust skill levels among players to create fairer matches.
