Rachel Chinouriri and Cat Burns release single 'Even' addressing identity challenges for Black and POC artists

Rachel Chinouriri and Cat Burns have released a new single titled "Even," addressing the challenges faced by Black and POC artists in the music industry. The song highlights their experiences with double standards and the extra effort required to gain recognition. In addition to the single, the artists launched a podcast miniseries where they share personal stories related to their experiences as Black women in the UK music scene. The first episode is now available on YouTube and podcast platforms. Chinouriri is also preparing for her sold-out UK tour next month, supporting her debut album. She previously announced her withdrawal from the Remi Wolf tour due to financial difficulties in the music industry.
