Qantas and Australian airlines lag in global punctuality rankings

Australia's major airlines, Qantas, Jetstar, and Virgin Australia, rank low in international punctuality. Qantas led locally with 73.85% of flights on time, while Jetstar and Virgin followed with 73.39% and 72.7%, respectively. In comparison, Mexican airline Aeromexico achieved nearly 87% on-time arrivals. This highlights a significant gap between Qantas and its global competitors. The new data, released by aviation data provider Cirium, shows that Australian airlines are struggling to match the performance of their international peers.
