Puttur police arrested two for moral policing

Two individuals were arrested Sunday in Puttur for allegedly recording and sharing a video of a minor boy and girl, leading to accusations of moral policing. The accused, Purushothama and Ramachandra, reportedly confronted the children, used abusive language, and recorded the video, which they then shared on social media with false claims. The incident occurred Saturday at Birumale Betta. Police have registered a case, and the local MLA has directed authorities to prevent future incidents of moral policing and ensure the safety of visitors to the area.
