Prosecutors appeal court’s decision on manslaughter charges
Prosecutors in Argentina have appealed a court's decision to drop manslaughter charges against three men linked to the death of singer Liam Payne. The appeal was confirmed by the Public Prosecutor's Office. Liam Payne fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires last year. His friend Rogelio Nores and two hotel workers were previously cleared of charges, but prosecutors are now seeking to bring them to trial. Two other men remain in prison on drug charges related to the case. They have been denied bail and face potential prison sentences of four to 15 years if convicted.
