Priyanka Gandhi supports revitalizing Wayanad's tourism sector
Priyanka Gandhi, a Member of Parliament, announced plans to support the revitalization of Wayanad's tourism sector. Wayanad is known for its stunning landscapes, including plateaus, mountains, and rivers. Priyanka urged local stakeholders to work together to boost tourism and preserve the region's unique cultural identity. She stressed that everyone has a role to play in promoting Wayanad as a major tourist destination. The National Tourism Convention is organized with the cooperation of Wayanad's tourism organizations and involves over 200 tour operators. Activities include a business-to-business meet, discussions with tour operators, and visits to tourist attractions. Key speakers included Subhash Ghosh, president of the ADTOI, and other local MLAs and tourism leaders.
