Prayagraj sets up 102 parking slots to manage Maha Kumbh traffic

Prayagraj has established 102 parking slots, including 24 satellite ones, to manage traffic during the Maha Kumbh event. These satellite slots will provide amenities like cloakrooms, first aid, and police assistance. The state government formed a 24-member traffic advisory committee to create a traffic management plan. Most parking is within a 5 km radius of the Sangam area, accommodating over 500,000 vehicles. Additionally, 1,700 signs will guide visitors, and over 500 shuttle buses will operate during the event. The mela police have also set up 195 guidance towers across the campus.
