Poll shows majority of Irish voters dissatisfied with government action on climate change and language support
An exit poll by Ipsos B&A shows that 51% of respondents believe the Irish Government has not done enough to address climate change. Support for this view is strongest among younger voters, with 60% of those aged 18-24 expressing dissatisfaction. In Dublin, 62% of voters feel the Government's climate actions are insufficient. The Green Party may struggle to retain seats despite these concerns, indicating a disconnect between voter expectations and party performance. The poll also found that half of respondents think the Government does not adequately support the Irish language. This sentiment is particularly strong among younger voters, with 66% of 18-24 year olds believing more should be done.
