The Petaling Jaya police chief confirmed the investigation, stating a report was filed after the video's discovery on Thursday. The investigation is under Section 81 of the Road Transport Act 1987, which prohibits unauthorized races. Police are seeking information from the public. "Basikal lajak" events, involving modified bicycles, have previously raised safety concerns. The police are now scrutinizing the planned Damansara Damai competition, which is set to take place on Saturday, May 24th.
