Police dog Zeus returns to duty in Aberdeen
A police dog named Zeus is back on duty after being injured in February. Zeus is a six-year-old Belgian Malinois. He received veterinary treatment following an incident in Aberdeen where a police car was driven at a man. Police Scotland shared the good news on social media, saying Zeus is "fit and well." His handler and Zeus are excited to return to work to help keep people safe. The police thanked the public for their support during Zeus's recovery. In connection with the incident, a 28-year-old man named Linas Luopas has been charged. He faces several charges, including having a bladed item in public and assault. Luopas appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court but did not enter a plea. He has been remanded in custody.
