Police detain man for hoax call about attack on PM Modi's aircraft in Mumbai

Police in Mumbai have detained a man for making a hoax call about a terrorist attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aircraft. The man, in his forties, is mentally unstable and has a history of making numerous calls to the police. The call was received on Tuesday while Modi was visiting France and the US. The police quickly traced the caller to Chembur using technical intelligence after he switched off his phone. No case has been registered against him. He will be sent to a mental hospital in Thane, as his family has refused to live with him due to concerns for their safety.
