Police bust influencers' $8M online gambling scheme in Rio Grande do Norte

Police dismantled a money laundering scheme involving influencers and online gambling platforms in Rio Grande do Norte, blocking approximately R$40 million. Assets of significant value were also seized during the operation. The "Shadow Influence" and "Casino Royale" operations targeted the illegal movement of funds through online casinos. Public figures and digital influencers are implicated in the scheme. Fifteen search and seizure warrants were executed across four states, leading to the seizure of luxury vehicles, cash, drugs, and electronic devices. The investigation is ongoing.
