Pokémon Go is hosting a Sprigatito Community Day on January 5 from 2-5 p.m. local time. During this event, Sprigatito will appear frequently, with a higher chance of finding shiny versions. Players can catch shiny Sprigatito at a rate of about 1 in 24. To maximize chances, players can use Incense and quickly check each Sprigatito for shininess. Evolving Floragato into Meowscarada during the event will grant the move Frenzy Plant. Bonuses during the event include tripled Stardust, doubled candy, and extended Incense and Lure Module durations. Players will also benefit from special trades and reduced Stardust costs for trading.
