PNB raises fixed deposit interest rates to 8.05 percent as of January 2025

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has updated its fixed deposit interest rates as of January 1, 2025. The new rates offer up to 8.05 percent per annum, with regular citizens receiving rates between 6.85 and 7.30 percent. Senior citizens can earn an additional 50 basis points, while super senior citizens receive an extra 80 basis points. For a one-year fixed deposit, rates are 6.85 percent for regular citizens, 7.35 percent for senior citizens, and 7.65 percent for super senior citizens. The highest rates are available on a 400-day fixed deposit, offering 7.30 percent for regular citizens and 8.10 percent for super senior citizens. PNB also provides various term deposits with different durations and rates.
