PlayStation Plus introduces day-one game releases starting this spring

PlayStation Plus will now offer day-one releases for select games, a shift from its previous strategy. This change was announced during Sony's recent State of Play event, where four titles were confirmed for launch day availability. The first two games are "Lost Records: Bloom & Rage," releasing in two parts on February 18 and April 15. Both will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. Additionally, the indie puzzle game "Blue Prince" and the multiplayer FPS "Abiotic Factor" will also join the service this spring and summer, respectively. This marks a notable change in Sony's approach to game releases on its subscription service.
