Playboi Carti releases deluxe album with new songs

Playboi Carti has released a deluxe edition of his popular album, titled *Music – Sorry 4 Da Wait*, surprising fans with four new tracks. This drop came on March 25, 2025, through AWGE and Interscope Records. The new tracks include "Different Day," "2024," "Backr00ms" featuring Travis Scott, and "FOMDJ." Some of these songs had previously been shared on his YouTube channel and Instagram in late 2023. Carti also performed "FOMDJ" at various events last summer and fall. The original version of *Music*, which has 30 tracks, was released on March 14, 2025. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart with 298,000 album units sold, marking 2025's biggest week for a hip-hop album. Carti made history, becoming the first rapper to have over 30 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 in one week. His tracks "Evil J0rdan" and "Rather Lie" with The Weeknd reached the top 10. "Timeless," another collaboration with The Weeknd, fell to No. 23 after previously hitting No. 3. Fans can now listen to *Music – Sorry 4 Da Wait* on streaming platforms.
