Pickup truck strikes and kills mother in Guelph, Ontario crosswalk

A mother died after being struck by a pickup truck while walking with her family in Guelph, Ontario. The 38-year-old woman and her husband, with their three-year-old daughter in a stroller, were hit in a crosswalk. The husband sustained minor injuries, and the child was treated and released. The 19-year-old driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene. Police are investigating the incident that occurred Friday afternoon.
