Philippine Vice President Sara Duterte authorized for travel

The Philippine President's Office granted Vice President Sara Duterte travel authority for her trip to the Netherlands. This was announced on Wednesday, just hours before her father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, was flown to The Hague. The travel authority also includes visits to Germany, France, and Belgium. Vice President Duterte departed Manila at 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday to accompany her father during his appearance at the International Criminal Court. Former President Duterte's chartered flight left Manila at 11:03 p.m. on Tuesday, prior to the vice president's departure.
