Philippine Embassy aids Duterte in The Hague detention

The Philippine Embassy in The Hague has provided assistance to former President Rodrigo Duterte, who is now in custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC). Duterte arrived in the Netherlands late Wednesday night. The embassy delivered winter clothing and care packages for Duterte and his delegation. Duterte was transferred to the ICC Detention Center after being arrested in the Philippines on Tuesday. Duterte faces an arrest warrant from the ICC for crimes against humanity related to his administration's drug war, which reportedly resulted in thousands of deaths.
