Peru will award $4.1B in projects 2025-2026
The Peruvian government plans to award over $4.1 billion in infrastructure projects between 2025 and 2026, primarily in the southern macro-region. These projects will be executed through Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs). The awarded projects, encompassing areas like road infrastructure and basic services, aim to improve connectivity in Arequipa, Apurímac, Cusco, Puno, Moquegua, and Tacna. ProInversión will oversee the projects to ensure standards are met. The PPP model allows for collaboration between public and private sectors to finance and execute projects, optimizing resources and accelerating construction. This approach facilitates large-scale infrastructure development.
