Pardoned Jan. 6 rioter Jake Lang arrested in Minneapolis after vehicle drove at crowd

Jake Lang, a pardoned Jan. 6 rioter and far-right influencer, was arrested Saturday in Minneapolis after police said a vehicle he occupied drove onto a sidewalk toward a crowd near City Hall. Police said two vehicles drove onto the sidewalk at approximately 11:50 a.m. and all occupants were arrested on probable cause riot. The vehicles were impounded, and additional arrests were made near City Hall. Lang faced 11 charges from Jan. 6, including assaulting officers with a baseball bat, but was never convicted before receiving a presidential pardon in January 2025. He has since staged provocations in multiple cities, drawing counter-protests.
