Panasonic launches Z85A OLED TV in US market with strong features and competitive pricing
Panasonic has launched the Z85A, an entry-level OLED TV priced at $1,499 for the 55-inch model and $1,699 for the 65-inch model. This marks Panasonic's return to the U.S. market after over a decade. The Z85A features a W-OLED panel and the HCX Pro AI MKII processor, offering vibrant colors and good contrast. The Z85A uses Amazon's Fire TV platform, replacing Panasonic's previous interface. It supports major streaming services and includes gaming features like 4K 120Hz and VRR. While it has only two HDMI 2.1 ports, its gaming performance is strong, with low input lag. Recent price drops make the Z85A more competitive against rivals like the LG C4. Despite average brightness levels, it delivers excellent picture quality and sound for everyday viewing, making it a solid choice in the mid-range OLED market.
