Palace denies Duterte's lack of medical care claims

The Philippine Palace denied claims that former President Rodrigo Duterte lacked proper medical care after his arrest. Undersecretary Claire Castro stated that Duterte was accompanied by medical staff at Villamor Airbase. Duterte's daughter, Kitty, had expressed concerns about his health, saying he was weakening and had high glucose levels. Duterte is facing an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court for alleged crimes against humanity related to his drug war. He was flown to The Hague to address the charges.
