Paige Bueckers debuts signature Nike shoe in historic college basketball game

Paige Bueckers made history by debuting her Nike GT Hustle 3 PE during the Women's Champions Classic at Barclays Center. This marks her as the first college basketball player to have a signature Nike shoe, officially released on December 7. Bueckers and her teammates wore the shoes in a game against Louisville, winning 85-52. The shoes feature a multicolor design and include references to her hometown and UConn, along with the message “Be You, Be Great.” Bueckers signed her NIL deal with Nike in September 2023. She is projected to be the top pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft and was recently named to the Naismith Women's Player of the Year Watch List.
