PAGASA reports Amihan and shear line affecting parts of the Philippines as tropical storm approaches

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) and a shear line will impact various regions in the Philippines. A tropical cyclone, Tropical Storm Pabuk, is currently outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. Tropical Storm Pabuk is located 250 kilometers west northwest of Kalayaan, Palawan, with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h. It is moving northwest at 10 km/h. Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms. Amihan will bring cloudy skies and rain to Metro Manila and several northern regions. The rest of Luzon may see partly cloudy skies with isolated light rains, while other areas will have partly cloudy conditions with possible localized thunderstorms.
