PAGASA monitors former tropical storm Romina as three weather systems impact Philippines on Christmas Eve
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is monitoring former Tropical Storm Romina, located 295 kilometers west northwest of Kalayaan, Palawan. It has maximum winds of 65 kph and gusts up to 80 kph. Three weather systems are currently affecting the Philippines. The Shear Line is causing cloudy skies and scattered rains in several regions, while the Northeast Monsoon brings rain to Cagayan Valley and Cordillera. Northern Luzon is experiencing strong winds and rough waters. Other areas will see moderate to strong winds and varying water conditions. Flash floods and landslides are possible in some regions.
