Openbank gains 300,000 Mexican customers

Openbank has surpassed 300,000 customers in Mexico six months after its launch. The digital bank, part of Santander, has processed over 1.3 million transactions and holds more than 230 million euros in customer funds. Openbank Mexico offers interest-bearing accounts and plans to expand its product range, recently adding digital purchase protection and Google Wallet integration.
