Only Fools and Horses episode banned for dark content, creator calls it not a good episode

An episode of *Only Fools and Horses*, titled "A Royal Flush," was banned from airing due to its dark and cruel content. The show's creator, John Sullivan, deemed it "not a good episode" after it was criticized for its harsh portrayal of characters. Originally aired as a Christmas special in 1986, the episode featured Del Boy mocking Rodney in a way that was considered excessive. Sullivan later ordered cuts to the episode, resulting in about 18 minutes of footage being removed for its DVD release in 2005. Actor David Jason, who played Del Boy, recently expressed regret over being primarily remembered for this role. He shared his desire to perform on stage at the National Theatre, a dream he feels may not be realized due to his age and memory concerns.
