One Hyde Park seeks $44 million for repair costs

One Hyde Park, a luxury apartment complex in London, is seeking over £35 million ($44 million) in repairs due to corroded pipework. The building's management is suing Laing O'Rourke Construction South Limited, which built the complex. The lawsuit claims the pipework was improperly installed, requiring extensive replacement. This would necessitate tenants moving out in stages during the repairs. Laing O'Rourke denies responsibility and did not attend a recent court hearing. The company stated it has attempted to negotiate a resolution with One Hyde Park's management for years.
