One person died and seven others were injured in a two-vehicle crash west of Brooks, Alberta, on Saturday. The collision involved an SUV and a pickup truck, both carrying families, and occurred near the intersection of Highway 36 and Highway 542. A 51-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
