Olive Sturgess, TV actress, died at 91

Olive Sturgess, a Canadian actress known for her roles in numerous TV Westerns, passed away on February 19 at the age of 91. She appeared in about 300 television episodes from the mid-1950s, including a notable role alongside Vincent Price in the 1963 film "The Raven." Sturgess was born on October 8, 1933, in British Columbia and moved to California in 1954. She gained fame through her performances in shows like "Rawhide," "Wagon Train," and "Maverick," and was recognized for her talent in the industry. After her daughter's birth, Sturgess stepped away from acting, with her last credit in 1974. She was married to musician Dale Anderson until his death in 2003.
