North Korea sends more troops to support Russia

South Korea's spy agency reported that North Korea has sent more troops to Russia to support its military efforts in Ukraine. This follows heavy casualties among North Korean soldiers already deployed in the conflict. The National Intelligence Service is investigating the exact number of additional troops sent. North Korean forces were reportedly redeployed to Russia's Kursk region earlier this month after a temporary withdrawal. North Korea has previously sent thousands of troops and continues to supply weapons to Russia. Concerns remain that Russia may provide advanced military technology to North Korea in return for its support.
