North Korea sends additional troops to support Russia

South Korea's spy agency reports that North Korea has sent more troops to Russia to support its efforts in Ukraine. This follows heavy casualties among North Korean soldiers already deployed there. The National Intelligence Service is investigating the exact number of additional troops. Reports suggest that 1,000 to 3,000 North Korean soldiers were sent to the Kursk region in early February. North Korea has previously supplied weapons to Russia and sent around 10,000-12,000 troops last fall. Concerns remain about potential military technology transfers from Russia to North Korea in exchange for support.
