NordPass now stores IDs; security is emphasized

NordPass now allows users to securely store digital copies of passports, IDs, and other documents within its encrypted vault. This new feature aims to provide convenient access and organization for important personal information. The "Documents" feature, accessible through NordPass's Premium and Family plans, offers up to 3GB of storage and includes reminder alerts for expiring documents. Users can upload various file types, including JPGs, PDFs, and PNGs, with a maximum file size of 40MB. NordPass utilizes XChaCha20 encryption and multi-factor authentication to secure stored documents, emphasizing its commitment to user privacy and security. The feature is available across multiple platforms, including web, Windows, Mac, iPhone, and Android.
