Noida Authority to install warning boards against illegal construction in New Noida

Noida Authority is taking steps to prevent illegal construction in 80 villages of New Noida. Warning boards will be installed to inform residents that any construction after the master plan's approval on October 18, 2024, is illegal. During a recent meeting, officials discussed land rates for direct purchases from farmers for the area's development. Compensation for farmers will depend on local rates and proximity to landmarks like the Noida international airport. Initial land acquisition surveys have begun, focusing on areas near key infrastructure. The project aims to meet rising investor interest and will be developed in four phases over the next two decades.
