Nitika Sandhu earns first INSA associateship for PAU
Nitika Sandhu of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has become the first from the university to receive the prestigious INSA Associateship, recognizing her contributions to agricultural biotechnology. Sandhu's INSA Associateship is awarded for her research and leadership potential. She has also received young scientist awards from the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) and the National Academy of Sciences (NASI), making her the first PAU scientist to achieve this. Sandhu's career includes a PhD, postdoctoral research at IRRI, and numerous awards. She currently works as a molecular geneticist at PAU and has secured multiple research grants.
