Nissan announces discontinuation of Titan pickup truck and GT-R sports car in 2025

Nissan will discontinue its Titan pickup truck in 2025, with the 2024 model being the last available. The decision comes after years of low sales, with only 19,189 units sold in 2023, far below the target of 100,000. The Titan, introduced in 2003, aimed to compete with major brands like Ford and Ram. Despite a refresh in 2020, it struggled to gain traction in the market. Nissan previously stopped Titan sales in Canada in 2021. Alongside the Titan, Nissan will also end production of the GT-R sports car in 2025. Many fans expressed disappointment over both models being discontinued, marking the end of an era for the automaker.
