Nihang man arrested for fatal stabbing in Ludhiana dispute

A Nihang man was arrested in Ludhiana for allegedly stabbing a relative to death and injuring four others with a kirpan. The attack occurred during a dispute in Suraj Nagar, stemming from an ongoing rivalry. The victim, Nirmal Singh, 50, died from his injuries, while one other victim, Manjit Singh, is in serious condition. The other three victims are stable. The accused, Jatinder Singh, initially fled but was later apprehended by police. The incident escalated after Jatinder attacked Manjit, leading to Nirmal and others intervening. Police noted that the two families had a history of conflict, including a previous complaint filed against Jatinder earlier this year. A murder case has been registered against him.
