This outbreak follows concerns over the HMPV virus affecting other states. The Takla virus has reportedly spread to about 15 villages, including Hingna and Bondgaon. Symptoms begin with scalp itching, leading to complete baldness within days. Children, the elderly, and women are among those affected. Health officials are investigating the outbreak and testing water samples for contamination. The local health department has been alerted due to the rising number of cases.
