New manufacturing breakthrough promises longer-lasting and brighter OLED displays

A new manufacturing process called MAX OLED could significantly improve OLED displays. Developed by Applied Materials, it promises up to three times more brightness and a lifespan five times longer than current methods. This technology uses a unique system to place individual pixels, enhancing brightness and pixel density. It also reduces power consumption by over 30 percent. Samsung is reportedly among the first companies to adopt this new process, suggesting that improved OLED gaming monitors may be available soon.
