New arts festival to debut in Lehigh Valley after Kutztown Folk Festival cancellation

A new arts festival, Folk Arts on the Farm, will take place on July 4-5 at Hausman Fruit Farm in Lower Milford Township. This event aims to replace the canceled Kutztown Folk Festival, which was deemed unsustainable due to rising costs and declining attendance. The festival will feature traditional and modern crafts, food, music, and activities like goat snuggling. It will be a larger event than previous craft gatherings at the farm, with a festival atmosphere across the grounds. The event will be free to attend, with free parking available. Organizers are still finalizing the vendor lineup and expect to create a family-friendly environment that allows attendees to enjoy local Independence Day celebrations.
