Netherlands sees more millionaires, with highest concentrations in Bloemendaal and Laren

The number of millionaire households in the Netherlands increased to 452,000 as of January 1, 2024. This represents a rise of 17,000 households compared to the previous year. This brings the proportion of millionaires in the Netherlands to 5.5 percent. Most millionaires possess between one and two million euros, with a smaller percentage holding significantly more. The highest concentrations of millionaires are found in specific municipalities like Bloemendaal and Laren. Conversely, provinces such as Groningen, Flevoland, and Limburg have the lowest percentages of millionaire households.
