Nestle discontinues popular vegan condensed milk alternative sparking shopper disappointment
Nestle has confirmed the discontinuation of its Carnation Vegan Condensed Milk Alternative, which was launched in 2020. The product, made from oats and rice, was popular among shoppers for plant-based baking but is now permanently off supermarket shelves. Customers expressed disappointment on social media, seeking alternatives for their baking needs. Nestle still offers its original dairy-based Carnation Condensed Milk, while shoppers can consider other vegan options like Organic Biona Sweetened Condensed Coconut Milk. This is not the first product Nestle has discontinued. Earlier, the company stopped making Smarties Buttons and Animal Bars, focusing instead on its core product lines.
