Nepalese student Bipin Joshi died saving a friend from a Hamas grenade

A Nepalese student, Bipin Joshi, is believed to have been murdered in captivity by Hamas after throwing back a grenade, saving a friend's life. Joshi, 23, was among Nepalese agriculture students in Israel when Hamas attacked on October 7, 2023. His friend credits Joshi's bravery with his survival during the initial assault. Joshi's body was identified among four returned hostages. He was taken captive along with 250 others, and his family had hoped for his living return during a recent ceasefire.
