NASCAR announces return to Bowman Gray Stadium for 2025 Clash with new format

NASCAR will host the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium on February 2, 2025. This marks the venue's first NASCAR event since 1971, following significant upgrades funded by a $530,020 grant. The race will feature a 200-lap main event, preceded by practice sessions on February 1. Drivers will compete in four heat races, with the top five from each heat advancing to the main race. A Last Chance Qualifier will allow additional drivers to secure spots in the feature race. The event will include a midpoint break at Lap 100 for adjustments.
