NASA alters Dragon mission due to Cygnus spacecraft damage

spacenews.com

NASA has revised the cargo manifest for the upcoming SpaceX Dragon mission to the International Space Station due to potential damage to a Northrop Grumman Cygnus spacecraft. The Cygnus mission, NG-22, is scheduled for June. The damage was found on the shipping container for the Cygnus cargo module during transport to the launch site. NASA is inspecting the module to assess any impacts on the mission schedule. As a result, some science experiments will be removed from the Dragon mission, SpX-32, set for late April, and replaced with food and consumables. Additionally, the handover between the Crew-10 and Crew-9 missions will be shortened to conserve resources.
