Nara Devaansh, the nine-year-old son of IT Minister Nara Lokesh, has set a world record for solving 175 checkmate puzzles in the fastest time. The World Book of Records certified this achievement on December 21. Devaansh completed the puzzles from a well-known chess book, demonstrating his skills after six months of focused training. His coach praised his creative learning and mental agility. In addition to the checkmate record, Devaansh also set two other records: completing the seven-disc Tower of Hanoi in 1 minute 43 seconds and arranging nine chess boards in five minutes.
