Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has urged officials to quickly resolve land-related issues to prevent public anger. During a recent meeting with District Collectors in Amaravati, he highlighted that complaints regarding land are rising daily. Naidu pointed out that 60 to 70% of these complaints are connected to land disputes. He noted that although land records in Andhra Pradesh should be simple, past irregularities have complicated the situation. He stressed the need for officials to focus on finding solutions instead of making problems worse. The Chief Minister also discussed the government's plan to allocate land for housing. They aim to provide three cents in rural areas and two cents in urban areas. Naidu wants to ensure that all eligible people get houses within five years. He encouraged officials to gather feedback from beneficiaries to improve the allocation process. He warned that failure to manage land issues effectively could lead to dissatisfaction among the public.
