Musk's X Corp and SpaceXAI drop antitrust lawsuit against Apple

Elon Musk's X Corp and SpaceXAI have dropped their antitrust claims against Apple in a lawsuit alleging the iPhone maker conspired with OpenAI to monopolize smartphone and AI chatbot markets. The dismissal was filed Monday without explanation or confirmation of a settlement. The lawsuit claimed Apple illegally shut out rivals by exclusively integrating OpenAI's ChatGPT into Apple Intelligence features. X and SpaceXAI will continue pursuing claims against OpenAI, which said it was not involved in the agreement and has requested its terms. A judge allowed the case to proceed in November, a preliminary win for Musk. Apple and OpenAI denied wrongdoing, with OpenAI accusing Musk of "lawfare." Musk's xAI acquired X last year for $33 billion.
